Can ADHD Aware offer assessments for diagnosis or medication?
No. We do not offer a diagnosis service nor can we prescribe medication. We can offer you information on how to get an assessment and diagnosis here
Can a healthcare professional refer patients to ADHD Aware?
No. People can self-refer only. If you have a client or patient who you think would benefit from our services, please signpost them to our website where they can subscribe to our newsletter and access the support they need.
Can I book straight onto a peer support group via Facebook or Eventbrite?
The peer support services can be booked onto via the newsletter. There is no other way to book onto the peer support groups. The newsletter is released on the first day of the month at 12 noon (except August). These contain the links to the meetings you can book onto these through Eventbrite. You can subscribe to our newsletter here
Is there a waiting list for the peer support groups?
If you find a peer support group is fully booked and there is a waiting list visible, please add yourself to the waiting list and you'll be sent a notification if a place becomes available. If no waiting list button is visible it means the waiting list is full, however do keep checking back up until the day of the event.
