Dave G.

Trustee

Dave is a corporate governance professional, with extensive experience of operating in regional and national government as well as the NHS. This has included advising ministers on policy and process, overhauling oversight and scrutiny models within local authorities and ensuring that healthcare providers are making decisions based on the most comprehensive information available. Prior to this, he was a Further Education lecturer covering history, philosophy and government & politics for A-Level students. His personal interests include Balkan culture and world football.

Dave was diagnosed with hyperactivity as a child and has continued to work with this condition in his adult life. His family have also received support for autism during their school life. Given this, he is firmly committed to ensuring that ADHD Aware is an advocate for neurodiversity and a provider of services with a reputation for excellence.

Marie J.

Trustee

Dr Marie J. originally trained as a medical doctor in Sweden and has a PhD in Molecular Genetics, having worked in the Cambridge-lab of Prof Sydney Brenner, Nobel Laureate. After several years as a business and technology consultant, she moved to the not-for-profit sector and brings 20+ years of fundraising and development experience from working at senior level for national and international charities and universities, where she has helped to grow organisations, develop new income streams and grow fundraising functions.

Marie has personal experience of ADHD in her family, and feels strongly that everyone should have access to help and support, to enable anyone to develop their full potential and thrive.

She supports the organisation in strengthening its financial sustainability while helping expand high-quality training for individuals, families, and workplaces. She is passionate about improving understanding of neurodiversity and ensuring that people with ADHD have access to practical support and opportunities to thrive.

Olga W.

Trustee

Olga is a qualified accountant and turnaround specialist with over 20 years’ experience working alongside SMEs and PE-backed organisations through periods of financial complexity, change and growth. Across her career she has helped organisations build the stable financial and operational foundations they need to move forward with clarity - across everything from financial crisis to restructuring and long-term planning.

With close personal experience of how ADHD can shape a life - its challenges and its remarkable upsides - she understands that neurodivergent individuals bring genuinely distinctive strengths in how they think, connect and solve problems. With the right support, those qualities don’t just survive, they flourish. It’s what she believes ADHD Aware is uniquely placed to unlock, and the reason she joined.
