How we help adults with ADHD
Meetings and support groups
Our monthly peer support groups and drop-in sessions take place both online (on Zoom) and in person (in Brighton).
Monthly newsletter
Our monthly email updates are your chance to stay up to date with the latest news on ADHD and to register for our popular events.
Neurodiversity training
We offer expert training for businesses and organisations looking to improve their understanding of neurodiversity and create an inclusive work culture.
Facebook support groups
Our Facebook groups exist to support people who are diagnosed (or self-diagnosed) with ADHD and their partners, family and friends.
As a peer support charity run largely by neurodivergent volunteers, we don’t provide:
medication / screening / assessment / diagnosis / shared care / counselling / benefits / one-to-one support / telephone support / support for children with ADHD
Email admin@adhdaware.org.uk for all general enquiries and press enquiries.
If you’re a journalist reporting on an ADHD-related topic, please refer to this useful guidance from the Anti-Ableist ADHD Media Coalition.
Detailed information on the provision of assessments and treatment for people with ADHD are contained in this research paper, published by Frontiers in Psychiatry in 2021.
